The other morning after Aida and I got out of the shower, I walked in my towel down the hallway to throw Aida's diaper in the garbage can...I notice along the side of the hall a snake/lizard looking thing as my foot is inches from it. I think to myself, "Jesse is a punk and put some rubber thing against the wall to scare me" THEN IT MOVES!! A freakin' LIZARD!! So I do what anyone else would do in this situation...scream my brains out and call my MOMMY to come and take care of it! Since she is like 2 minutes away I figure he'll just stay up against the wall and I will just keep my eyes on him in the meantime...think again. Yoda decides to play with him and the lizard slithers away (yes they look like they are slithering!!) under the couch!!! So I'm on the table screaming, Aida is in the hall naked looking at me like I'm nuts!
So I find out that my mom is just as useless as I am in this situation, as we both scream every time he moves!! Luckily Kel and Zane stop by and we have the lizard cornered so Zane tries to pick him up, pretending not to be scared but can't get him! So I chase him out to the middle of the room and Kelly the BRAVE puts a bowl over him and scoops him up!!
So we let him go...but two things worry me...How in the heck did he get in the house and how long had he been there? YUCK!! The area we live has tons of snakes and lizards and I am coming to terms with that, you can hear them in the bushes all the time!! When they get in my house that is another story!!

I hate any thing that moves that I have to catch! What if it goes up your arm or something?! I'm sitting here listening to Macy cry (trying to go to bed)while Jaylynn, Mark, Rachelle, Jackson, Joe and two other friends are upstairs playing rock band. Great description! I feel like I was there and saw the whole thing happen :-) Just be glad you're not someplace that has scorpions and cockroaches. (At lease I don't think you have them there). This Summer will be "interesting" for me!
Oh my gosh, I would've freaked out. I hate snakes or lizards, especially in my house! Luckily you had someone who was brave enough to capture it for you. I think I would have just spent the day on the table!
Eeeeww!!! I hate creepy crawlies! I'm with you... I'd be looking out for how that sucker got into my house in the first place!!!
