We had a GREAT Labor Day! We started the day out with a bike ride along the American River. We got bikes for Christmas and a trailer for Aida and we love to go out on rides. My sore butt is proof that we need to go out more!
At the end of the bike trail Mike and Jesse decided to jump off some rocks...I would have but the river water is ALWAYS freezing! We drive over the bridge in the background almost every day and Aida knew instantly! What a smartie!
We also saw an amphibious car while we were down there!! Really??

After the bike ride we headed over to Kelly and Tadd's with James and Laura and Mike and Amber for some BBQ, swimming and pickle ball...my new FAVORITE thing!! Its a cross between tennis, ping pong and whiffle ball...SO FUN!! Kelly's parents have a court in their backyard. We played pretty much all night...we had a couples tourny but split up Kelly and Tadd so they wouldn't kill us and Jesse and I should have won...but we blew it!! 
Aida asked if she could wear my glasses then told her boyfriend Payton that she was going to lay out! What a silly girl!!

Sounds like fun. We did nothing. I worked, so I'm jealous! I wish we could hang out on Labor Day or any day!! Aida looks like a big kid laying out! Fun times!
PIckle ball? I'm so curious, we'll have to try it. Nice backyard, that does look like a fun Holiday
