Resolution

One of my New Year's resolutions is to be more OPTIMISTIC...there is so much negativity around us, I definitely get caught up in all the bad things that seem to happen to us on a day to day basis but I really admire people who go through trials and keep a cheerful heart. So that is my goal for this year to become more happy, cheerful, grateful, and positive! I found these 5 steps that I thought were really good:
1 SLOW DOWN; try not to rush, pause. Stay in the day
2 SOFTEN YOUR FOCUS; while the details seem all important in the moment, try not to get caught up in them. While no one will remember the mismatched placemats, or the outfit you wore they will remember how hard they laughed!
3 ROLL WITH IT; forget the little things
4 OBSERVE; try to see people and things around you as they are, not as you wish them to be
5 BREATH FIRST; allow yourself the chance to really savor each moment

Good for you...I love your new year resolution! Those are great tips too. When you get back, we are totally going to hang out when I am not working. We are going to go for walks, craft, and laugh and be positive people! I am on board to help you achieve your resolution! Miss you

I admire you for having this resolution. It's hard to always see the positive, but I believe you can do it! I use to be really pessimistic about life until I started working for Steve and he totally changed my thinking about things. He made me realize that the people around me were watching my attitude and that goes for family life too! I need to work on it some more around my family too! Hope you had a great time in Hawaii, well you're still there! Enjoy every minute!
