Well as of now we are officially POTTY TRAINED!! I didn't want to get too excited since a lot of people have told me that most kids regress...I just keep waiting for Aida to have an accident but she doesn't!! She even holds it over night!! I am truly aMaZeD by this little person... The first few days I had to keep on her, asking her constantly if she needed to go and I would have to force her to stay on the potty but on the second morning after she woke up she told me that she needed to go and she still had her diaper on!!! Since then I don't even have to ask her she just tells me. One morning she came into our room at like 4:30 to tell me she had to go pee pee!!We are even confident enough to go out! My friend told me about these seat covers you can get at Babies-R-Us that are great so we will get those so we don't have to put like 30 seat covers on when we go in the public bathroom...YUCK! I think the trick was to let her pick panties that she liked and that way she was sad when she got them all wet. We didn't do the pull ups at all...they are too much like diapers so she couldn't even tell the difference and to have lots of different rewards not just treats!! I am SO PROUD of my little girl...not so little anymore! I love it just because her little butt is just adorable in her panties! Hopefully I don't have to make a post in a week or so saying that we are back in diapers :)

Hooray for no diapers:) Good job Aida!
I'm so excited for you! Potty training is a HUGE deal!!! Yay, for Aida!!! If a child is truly ready to potty train, they don't ever regress, it's only when you start them too soon that they have those types of problems. She's obviously ready and you won't be posting in a week that she's back in diapers!!! She's got it!
Annoyed, again..:) Great job Aida, big girl huh? Macy, seriously. Uh, call me about the bachelor, what do you think?! I'm going to have to start rewarding big time for going potty. She'll go as long as I tell her too, but she has accidents all the time. Frustrating. Talk to you later. Finally feeling better and thanks for the post. Jana
Congrats to Aida!!!! Such a big girl now!
Yeah! No more diapers! I tried to get Linnae to potty train so many times but she wouldn't do it until SHE was ready. Kids are funny that way :-) Congratulations!
No Way! Go Aida! I haven't really started with Kylie yet but I'm getting anxious to especially with another one on the way. You'll have to give me tips.
Okay... off topic, but did you watch the bachelor? I thought he was going to pick Amanda the whole time. Chelsea's p.d.a. issue is annoying & I think Shayne is cute, but she's not ready to be married yet. She wants to be a celebrity, she should enjoy that while being single. Although, I think I kind of like her more than Chelsea. Why do we get invested, it's just a show... right? : )
Ash
congrats that is something to celebrate!! you better have another one quick or else you'll get to used to the good life!!
Hello Devon! I am so happy for Aida! She is beautiful and such a sweet little girl. Thanks for posting about Stephenie Meyer's books- I LOVE THEM TOO! I thought I was the only one. So I totally copied your countdown thing onto my blog- hope you don't mind. I was counting the days before; now I don't need to keep getting out the calendar to do it. Thank you!
Devon-
It's been so long!! I found your blog through Emily H. She found my blog through someone else...and on goes the endless world of blogging. I am glad to see that you are doing well. Your daughter is so cute!! How are things? Are you living in Idaho?
Talk to you soon, Jillian
