Trip to Idaho!!

First, I just want to thank all of you so much for all of your support, encouragement, love, wonderful idea's, prayers and thoughtfulness. I know that things will get better and I know that we can get through this. Its been really comforting to hear that we're not alone, we know that everyone faces trials but sometimes on our blogs we tend to only post about the happy things. Thanks so much! Yesterday at church I kept hearing over and over about "Timing" I know some of you commented on that and I felt very comforted that it is all on our Heavenly Father's time. I know that he hasn't forgotten about us! I was about ready to loose it during Sacrament meeting, we sang "Come, come ye saints" I felt the spirit so strong and felt so selfish that I was complaining about my life right now and the pioneers went through SO much! Anyway, I am glad I posted that, I love all of you and appreciate all of your support...THANKS!!

For the 4th we headed out to good old Idaho for the first time (for me) since moving! We headed to Burley first to spend some time with my grandparents and my sister's family. We watched to Parade on the 4th then headed to my sister's to play on the river, eat and watch the fireworks. I didn't take one picture! I am so lame! The next day we went back to my sister's to play on the river again, fish and eat some more.

Here is Jesse and Aida on the jet ski...she hated it at first then we couldn't get her off!

That night we headed to Twin to stay with the Martin's...we had so much fun! Thank you for letting us stay with you! We had a BBQ with the 2 Dille's and the Jones'.

The kids had so much fun in their backyard! Then we roasted marsh mellows over the fire. Aida, Alexa, Aldon and Macy...cute kiddos waiting patiently!
The next day we went to the Alligator farm and to see the big sturgeon fish...its only half an hour away and we had never been!

The next day was Rachelle's birthday! I am so glad we were able to celebrate it with her! We went to lunch at the Garden Cafe...Rachelle, Amanda, Jana, Jaylynn and me. Then to Jana's to do a fun craft...I'll post a picture later. I miss having girl friends! It was so fun to just hang out all day, do crafts and eat.

To continue the birthday celebration we of course ate some more!! All the guys and Macy joined us for dinner at a Benny Hanna type restaurant...it was fun!

After dinner we all headed over to the Martin's to watch fireworks...Aida hated to fireworks and had her fingers in her ears the whole time! She eventually fell asleep with them still in her ears! What a weirdo! Here is Jana and Jaylynn with all the kiddos...Aldon, Adi, Berkley, Macy, Brady and Aida.

More of the firework show...our camera broke...or so I thought so the whole time we didn't have a camera, that's why all of these pictures are different sizes I've had to steal them off my friends blogs! We even bought a new camera while we were there and it didn't work after charging it and everything! So Jesse went back and bought a different one, then when we got home I put our old camera on the charger and it turned out to just have a dead battery!! Whoops!
Here is Aida with her new best friend Aldon...these kids played so well together! The other day we were driving home and out of the blue she asked if we could go see her friend Aldon! It was sad!

It's always fun to have a group of girlfriends. It just makes life better doesn't it? Sounds like a great way to celebrate the 4th. And Aida is always so cute!

I tried calling you today. I'm so glad to see this post. Glad you're doing better. It is good to get it off your chest. Our lives certainly aren't always perfect even though sometimes we pretend so nobody will know. There are always people who have it tougher, but that doesn't make what we're going through any easier. Thank heavens for our faith. We had so much fun while you were here. I want to plan a camping trip so you have to come back for that!!:) Talk to you soon. Jana
